All City's academic, research and support departments have a Subject or Research Librarian. The service is provided by an experienced team who offer specialised support and assistance to students and staff.
For students we

- Advise you on citing and referencing.
- Advise you on finding and making the most of Library resources to support your studies.
- Build online subject guides
For academic staff we

- Provide individual research sessions for you.
- Advise you on finding and making the most of Library resources to support your research and teaching.
- Liaise with you to provide appropriate library resources.
- Support you in using Reading Lists Online.
- Can help with bids for research funds and grants, principally by costing any research resources you would need.
- Attend departmental meetings and student feedback committees.
- Build online subject guides.
