In order to support students, academics and researchers during the coronavirus pandemic a number of academic publishers are choosing to make their content temporarily free to access online. This page provides details and further information about resources which are now available to you.
Remember these resources are available in addition to the online resources we subscribe to, which you can access through CityLibrary Search. You can filter any results on CityLibrary Search to only show items that can be accessed online. Once you have searched for a title, author or keyword, you can select “Full Text Online” under the Refine Your Search on the left-hand menu. Contact us if you have problems accessing material.
To support medical professionals at this time, OUP are providing free access to a number of books and chapters on mechanical ventilation, critical care, and acute medicine. Features relevant chapters from the Oxford Textbook of Medicine and the Oxford Handbook of Clinical Medicine.
A number of publishers have chosen to temporarily make content freely available on Project MUSE. Each publisher designates the specific content and for how long it will be freely available on MUSE. The Project Muse list will be updated on a daily basis.
