Contact your Subject Librarian if you would like to organise a Library induction or a tailored workshop around a particular assignment, subject, or resource. Workshops can take place in the library or in a computer lab or classroom or sometimes online.
Students and staff are also welcome to sign up and attend our range of library training workshops which take place throughout the year on a variety of topics.
Our sessions include:
- Library Essentials.
- Finding information for your assignments
- Harvard citing and referencing using Cite Them Right online.
- Going beyond CityLibrary Search – the basics of literature searching
- Introduction to RefWorks (reference management software).
Enhancing your research skills will assist both your studies and your future career. We sometimes offer Employability related workshops such as researching employers which you will find on our workshop calendar as above.
