Student inductions and worshops
Contact your Subject Librarian if you would like to organise a Library induction or a tailored workshop around a particular assignment, subject, or resource. Workshops can take place in the library or in a computer lab or classroom.
Students and staff are also welcome to sign up and attend our range of library training workshops which take place throughout the year on a variety of topics.
Library Essentials
Library Essentials is our dedicated information literacy programme designed to help students and researchers find and use library resources effectively.
Our different sessions cover:
- Getting to know City Libraries
- Finding information for your assignments
- Going beyond City Search – the basics of literature searching
- Introduction to RefWorks
Workshops are run on a regular basis throughout each term and are designed to so that students from all schools can attend.
