Academic Practice

Finding Books and E-Books

Books and text books are useful to give an overview of a particular subject.

Reading lists for the MA Academic Practice modules can be found on the Library's Reading Lists Online on the Library website or from the Reading List link on Moodle.  The MA Academic Practice modules begin with the module code EDM.

Search CityLibrary Search by title, keyword or author to locate books and e-books.

  • To find a book in the Library, you will need to make a note of the shelfmark and match this to the spine of the book. Books are arranged in numerical order.

CityLibrary Search result for Social Research Methods shows available copies at shelfmark 300.72 BRY.

  •  To access e-books on and off campus click the 'Full text online' link and enter your City username and password.

An ebook titled Research Methods has a link to Full Text Online displayed in the CityLibrary search results page.
