Make scans of chapters/extracts/articles available via Reading Lists if:
Publication is covered by CLA licence
Library owns a copy of publication, or a copy of the excerpt rom another library (for which a fee must be paid)
No more than 10% or one chapter (whichever greater) is used in a course
Make scans of textual material available on Moodle if:
You have permission, you own the copyright or it is out of copyright
It is a newspaper covered by the NLA licence
It is an insubstantial amount used for illustration or criticism and review
Make digital copies from newspaper websites available on Moodle (except FT)
Use an excerpt of a film or sound recording in a lecture
Use images if:
Source publication is covered by CLA and reference is made to the licence using a link to the text. See the Copyright Guide, or
They are an insubstantial part of the source publication, or
They are Creative Commons licenced
Acknowledge everything you use unless not reasonably practicable (but be certain that it isn’t!).

Make an entire film or sound recording available on Moodle (see if it is available to be linked to from one of our resources such as Naxos Music Library or Box of Broadcasts, or obtain permission from rightsholder)
Make standalone images (i.e., not included in a published item such as a book or journal article) available without permission from rightsholder
Make any ERA licensed broadcast material available overseas
