Guide types
Add your guide to the correct Guide category. If you are unsure which type to use contact Antonella Yarnold, Lucy Clifford or Jessica Wykes.
| Guide category | Description |
|---|---|
| Subject | Made by Subject Librarians for a specific subject area or department. |
| 'Help with...' | For a specific resource or area of research (i.e. Copyright) |
| Library services | For a specific Library service (i.e. City Research Online) |
| Internal | For Library staff only, not shared with students/general public |
| Blueprint | A collection of items which can be mapped to other guides |
Guide Navigation
Side Navigation is our preferred guide navigation as it is mobile responsive. If you are creating a brand new library guide:
- Select 2022 Subject Guide Guide Navigation Layout.
- Choose 'show box level navigation for selected page'.
